Our Methodology

The approach adopted at L.K.C.E seeks to empower the students to harness their potential strengths, to emerge as positive, well-informed and confident individuals. The design of the course is composed of knowledge domain & skill domain as following:

1.Knowledge Domain
The spirit of classroom training encompasses the socio-philosophical & psychological foundation and innovative technology trends. Since its inception, L.K.C.E. has been privileged to invite eminent personalities for extension lectures & seminars on Teacher Education. Great Educationist Dr. D.R. Vij, former Principal S.I.E. Patiala & lifetime achievement awardee in Teacher Education shared his rare Mantra “The ABC of teaching” with L.K.C.E. students (2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10) to broaden their Horizons. Prof. R.P. Singh, an International Teacher Education icon, shared the present status & scenario of the Teacher Education in India & abroad with LKCE students (2009) to get introduced them with problems & ground realities in Teacher Education. Dr. B.S. Yadav, Associate Professor from University College of Education, KUK delivered an extension lecture in the session 2009-10 at the college to provide latest knowledge of Evaluation system in B.Ed. course and to inculcate human & life values in the student-teachers.
In the session 2010-11 Dr. D. R. Vij blessed the students his views on ‘On Joining Teaching Profession’. He also viewed about the fundamental principles to be a good teacher. An eminent personality Dr. B.B. Lala extended his deliberation that Aids is not curable but it can be prevented by taking some initial steps.
In the session 2011-12 Mr. Balram, Sr. Lecturer, DIET, Mohra (Ambala) extended his deliberation that in the modern conflicted and confused lifestyle human being rose the demand of proper guidance and counseling in all the sphere of life on 12th December 2011. A prominent personality Dr. Rajbir Parashar delivered a lecture on ‘Proficiency in English’ in which he emphasized the correct use of this language and at least approximate pronunciation that should be acceptable by all.
In session 2013-14, Prof Taruna Dhall from Kurukshetra University delivered an extension lecture on ‘Learning Paradigms’.
In the session 2015-16, the members of management committee and teaching staff of Lord Krishna College of Education, Adhoya visited home of martyr Gursewak (who got martyred in Pathankot attack). The family was visited to pay him tribute and to congratulate the family on the birth of daughter of the martyr. The chairman, Sh. Rajkumar Sangwan also presented a letter of appreciation to the family.
In the year 2016, an extension lecture was organized in the college in collaboration with ‘Memory Enhancement Institute of Science and Technique Organization, Kurukshetra’. The students were made aware of various techniques of memory enhancement by the specialists Mr. Dharmender Dhiman and Mr. Krishan Saini.
In the year 2017, One Day National Seminar on “Impact of Assessment & Accreditation by NAAC on TEIs of India” was organized by the college. Prof. S. P. Malhotra, Chief consultant, MHRD was the chief guest of seminar. Prof. Yoginder S. Verma, Pro-Vice Chancellor, CUHP, Dharamshala, HP has been the guest of honor. Other invited speakers were Prof. Amarendera Behera, (Professor at CIET, NCERT), Dr. Manoj Saxena (Dean, School of Education, CUHP, Dharamshala) Dr. (Mrs.) Taruna C. Dhall (Principal, UCEK, Kurukshetra), Dr. P. K. Malik (Associate Prof. Faculty of Commerce, Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Yamuna Nagar), , Dr. Sandeep Kumar (Faculty, Dept of Education, University of Delhi), Dr. B. P. Bhardwaj(Faculty, Dept of Education, University of Delhi) . The essence of the presentations of all the speakers was to improve the standards of teacher education programmes with respect to NAAC accreditation and its follow up.
In the year 2018, the chairman Sh. Rajkumar Sangwan and Principal Dr. Renu Sohta visited Govt. Sen. Sec. School, Babain, Kurukshetra to know more about the functioning of the school as well as to congratulate the school authorities. The school has been awarded by government for the best facilities provided to the students. The same has been discussed with the students in assembly.

  • 2.Skill Domain:
    The students are grouped into tutorials & houses for syndicate learning, bringing about the healthy & competitive spirit and a sense of belongingness. The sadans & tutorials occupy a prominent place in our college activities. We start the instructions with Daily Morning Assembly to imbibe the moral values.
    Various activities are organized in the institution for the all round development of the pupil-teachers. The main aspects covered through these activities are:
    • Physical Development: Athletic meet & games period.
    • Personal Development: Cultural activities & Community based projects.
    • Social Development: Collaboration with the community, Organizing Community Services Programmes, Celebrating important National and International days of Social Importance such as AIDS day, Environment Day, Women’s Day, Youth Day etc.
    • Intellectual Development: Seminars, Quiz, Debate, Symposium, Essay Writing, Declamation etc.
    • Career Development: Providing Guidance & Counseling to choose right vocation, Organizing Extension Lecture by Employment Exchange Officer, Placement guidance by Placement Cell.
    • Nationalism: Celebrating Important National Days like Republic Day, Independence Day, Martyrdom Day and Haryana Heroes’ Day.
