The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been established in the Lord Krishna College of Education, Adhoya in October 2010 with a view to ascertain and sustain quality of Teacher Education through cooperative efforts of the participative organs/constituents of the institution.

The objectives of the IQAC are:

(a) To ensure quality improvement in the entire activities and programmes of the institution.

(b) To ensure stakeholders participation in planning, management and development of different programmes.

Major activities of the IQAC are:

  1. To design and implement the annual plan of the institution for quality enhancement
  2. To develop the mechanism of feedback from all stakeholders.
  3. Development and application of quality parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
  4. Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
  5. To retain good faculty in the institution for academic excellence.
  6. Collection of information on various quality parameters of education and best practices followed by other institutions.
  7. Organizing seminars, workshops and training programmes on quality related subjects and promotion and dissemination of such activities of information.
  8. Development and application of innovative practices in various activities leading to quality enhancement with a futuristic perspective.
  9. Creation of student–centric classroom learning environment, conducive to quality education.
  10. Application of ICT in promoting teaching learning process.
  11. To organize different community participation activities/awareness programmes in the adopted village.
  12. Preparation of Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) for review and reflections.

1. To provide a forum for collaborative effort of parents, teachers & students towards quality teacher education.

2. To make assessment of teacher training programmes in order to make it effective and relevant.

3. To invite the perspectives of parents & teacher trainees about the functioning of institution.

4. To identify the strengths and limitations of the existing teacher training programme.

5. To invite the views of parents about the quality of existing teacher training programme.

6. To invite teacher trainee's views on the needs & problems related to existing training programme.

7. To acquaint the parents about various programmes taken by college for professional development of teacher trainees.

8. To draw out the best in the teacher trainees with the collaborative efforts of parents & teacher educators.

9. To bring out interactive strategies for quality improvement in teacher education.
