To nurture artistic talent, Lord Krishna College of Education, Adhoya (Ambala) organized a Two-Day Young Artist’s Workshop on December 28-29, 2023, under the theme “Line, Colour & Shade.” This workshop provided an enriching experience for students, helping them refine their skills in fine arts and gain insights from experienced professionals.

Workshop Highlights

🎨 Theme: Line, Colour & Shade – A comprehensive exploration of artistic techniques.
👩‍🎨 Participants: Students of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. from Lord Krishna College of Education.
🎭 Keynote Speaker: Mr. Sukhvinder Singh (PGT Fine Arts, DPS Public School).
🎨 Special Resource Persons: Mr. Parveen Kumar (Wisdom World School, Kurukshetra) & Mr. Rajiv Kumar (GSSS Adhoya).
🏆 Hands-on Sessions & Competition: Practical art sessions followed by an engaging competition.

Objective of the Workshop

The workshop aimed to provide a structured platform for young artists to learn, experiment, and innovate using different artistic elements. It focused on:

📌 Inaugural Session: Welcome address by Dr. Renu Sohta (Coordinator) and a keynote speech by Mr. Sukhvinder Singh.
📌 Session 1: Artistic exploration with Mr. Parveen Kumar on different fine arts techniques.
📌 Session 2: Deep dive into shading and color application with Mr. Rajiv Kumar.

🔹 Day 2: December 29, 2023
📌 Session 3: Understanding the emotional impact of art with Mr. Sukhvinder Singh.
📌 Session 4: A final interactive competition, where participants showcased their learning.
📌 Valedictory Session: Address by Prof. Ram Viranjan (Dean, Faculty of Indic Studies, Kurukshetra University) and certificate distribution by Dr. Renu Sohta (Principal, Lord Krishna College of Education, Adhoya).
