Principal Message
As the proud Principal of this college, I feel privileged to welcome you all to the Lord Krishna family in thissession. Attheveryoutset, I am prompted touseSirAurobindo's quote; "There is divinity in every child and purpose of education is to take out that divinity." Here, at L.K.C.O.E, Adhoya, we will work precisely as perthequote. In India, we have adopted a system whereby, the professional careers are chosen not because it is the passion of the child but because what parents see in the child. The wishes of the parents keep changing as the fashion changes. Therefore, what colleges get is half mentally prepared and charged students. We have to break this tradition. We must go by the passion of the child. Schooling can never be tailored on each child, unless you employed a lot of teachers. LKCOE is striving hard to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values combining with academic and extra-curricular activities 'in the children. A great verse from the Gita, which says, "Teaching is pure only when it is given from the heart to the right person at the right time and the right place, and when we except nothing in return. The role of an educational institution is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever- changing global society. Swami Vivekananda once said, "Education is not which prepares 'you for life; it is LIFE itself" It is wonderful to look back at the last few years, at LKCOE, when there is so much to feel proud of and so much to celebrate. Last few years have been extremely successful and satisfying in terms of accomplishments and accolades in scholastic, co-scholastic and infrastructural development areas. Students educated from the college have carved a niche for themselves in various educational sectors at national and international levels. In the academic session 2021-22, Our students added glory to the college by participating in various Community Awareness Programmes as Beti Bachao, Beti Padaho Abhiyan, Science in Motion: An Initiative under Haryana School Science Promotion Programme, Milan Programme: Hands-on Experience about the functioning of the college, 7-days-long academic-cum- social awareness programmes on Mahatma Gandhi's Birth Anniversary, Students and Faculty visited to Rotary School for Hearing Impaired, Ambala Cantt. Cleanliness Drive(. Wreath Laying Ceremony, Cancer and Aids Awareness Campaign, Pariksha Pe Charcha, Polio Drive Campaign and Campaign on National Voters' Day, An; evening with ASOS team at Udyan care, Kurukshetra and Campaigning on Eco friendly Pollution Free Diwali, etc. The college has won first and second prize in various events as Rangoli Competitions, Face Painting, Floral Decoration, Nail Art, Best out of Waste, Poster Making, Road Safety Programmes etc., that are organized' in different institutions of Haryana from time to time. Our teachers work hard throughout the year with the students to provide them high quality educational, experience in the form of debates, group discussions, workshops, symposia seminars and cultural competitions. As in these years, variousseminar organized ort; the themes like Promoting Equity in Education in India: Vision 2030, Gender Champions: A Promotional Effort by Tri-Ministry of India for gender equality, impact of Assessment and Accreditation by NMC on TEls of India, General Health and wellness, group discussions on Sustainable Development Goals. Eminent personalities are invited from all walks of life to address our students and expose, them to new ideas and thoughts. I eulogize philanthropic efforts of Shri Raj Kumar Sangwan (Chairman, LKCOE) Mr. Ramesh Sangwan (Secretary), Mr. Sahib Sangwan (Treasurer), and othe- management members for establishing such an institution serving noble cause of spreading education. I strongly believe that, 'every student has immense potential to succeed and every teacher has positive power to influence his student. As young institution of learning, it is our collective passion and aspiration to make a difference in the lives students in this institution. I am deeply honored to be in serving position of this educational institution. My commitment to the cause of education comes from my students of this institution. My message for them is: Always aim high, Be regular in your classes and focus on your goals. You surely have the potential to become perfect in life. Don't be lazy and postpone things. If you really wish and work hard nothing can stop you to live a life of joy and achievement. The parents are the most strengthening power in moulding the future of children.
